Bookings
You may request or enquire about a Southern Cross Alpine Lodge accommodation booking (or anything else about Southern Cross) by email, fax, post or phone, preferably by downloading, completing and forwarding one of the 2 Booking Forms whose links are below. Bookings cannot be confirmed until at least a 50% deposit is received and are subject to Southern Cross Booking Conditions.
Note that for security reasons we do not recommend emailing credit card details in the body of an email. You may need to
to open either of the 2 Booking Forms linked from this page.
Print Only Booking Form including Booking Conditions (121 kb) – you print and then fill in by hand, then either fax it, mail it, or scan and email it – you obviously need to mail any form which includes a cheque.
Fillable Booking Form (130 kb) – you can fill in using Adobe Reader, although you cannot save or email the filled in form unless you are using Adobe Reader version 7 or higher. The following recommended process is based on Adobe Reader 7 but similar processes apply to other versions :
| 1) | Right Click Fillable Booking Form (130 kb) and save the form first to your computer on your desktop or to wherever else you specify. Then open that saved form with Adobe Reader version 5 or higher (version 7 or higher recommended). |
| 2) | Select <Edit><Preferences><Forms> and then in the <General> section at the top, uncheck the box named <Always hide forms document message bar>. Select other preferences as required (mostly should be checked) and then select <OK>. |
| 3) | On the Documents Message Bar at the top of the page, ensure that the <Highlight fields> box is checked. Complete each data input field using the mouse, and/or Tab to move between fields. NOTE THAT there is only limited checking on your input, so please check your entered data carefully. |
| 4) | If using Adobe Reader 7 or higher, save the completed form to your computer (we suggest under a new name). Reopen the saved form to ensure it saved correctly. [You can select the email button to email directly, but this is not recommended – and could result in an empty form being emailed.] Print the completed form so that you have a copy (especially if using Adobe Reader 5 or 6 where you cannot save or email the completed form). |
| 5) | If you have been able to save the completed form using Adobe Reader 7 or higher, you may then attach it to an email and email to the Booking Coordinator. If you are paying by cheque, or if you could not save the completed form, then sign the printed form and then either fax it, mail it or scan and email it – you obviously need to mail any form which includes a cheque. |
